Service

Construction and Project Coordination

Keeping the moving parts of a septic project — trades, machines, materials and inspections — in a workable order.

What this service involves

  • Sequencing the septic work against excavation, foundation, water line and landscaping stages.
  • Coordinating installation partners and equipment so the site is not held up waiting on one item.
  • Arranging material deliveries and staging areas that suit the property.
  • Being the point of contact between the owner, the designer and the crews on site.
  • Flagging problems early — access, weather, unexpected ground conditions — rather than after the fact.

When this may be required

  • New construction where the septic work has to fit a larger build schedule.
  • Constrained or steep sites where access and staging need real thought.
  • Projects with several parties involved and no single person tracking the sequence.
  • Replacement work on an occupied property that needs to stay liveable.

The general TTIS process

  1. 01

    Map the sequence

We set out the order of operations and what has to be true before each stage starts.

  2. 02

    Book the pieces

Crews, machines and materials are scheduled against that sequence.

  3. 03

    Run the work

Progress, changes and site conditions are tracked and communicated as the job moves.

  4. 04

    Close out the stage

Each stage is checked and recorded before the next one covers it up.

Every property is different. Timing, cost, system suitability and authorization outcomes depend on the site and on decisions made by others, so we describe the process rather than promise a result.

What to have ready

  • Your overall project schedule and any fixed dates.
  • Contacts for the other trades already engaged.
  • Access constraints — gates, neighbours, shared driveways, seasonal road limits.
  • Where materials and spoil can be placed on the property.
  • Any areas, trees or features to be protected.

If you do not have some of this, that is fine — bring what you have.

Talk to us about project coordination

We serve Vancouver Island communities from Campbell River to Saanich, and consider Port Alberni, Ucluelet, Tofino and other Island locations depending on scope and scheduling. Tell us the property location and what is happening on site.
