Who we are
Turtle Tanks Island Systems coordinates septic projects on Vancouver Island
TTIS works with property owners across Vancouver Island on the septic side of a property — new installations, replacing systems that have failed, and upgrading systems that no longer suit how a property is used.
Projects are coordinated end to end: understanding the site, working with the appropriate qualified professionals on design, keeping the paperwork moving, building the system, and finishing with documentation you can keep.
Septic pumping, cleaning and routine servicing are not our focus. Our work is the planning and construction side of on-site systems.

Where we work
Serving Vancouver Island
TTIS serves Vancouver Island communities from Campbell River through the Comox Valley and Nanaimo, continuing south through the Cowichan Valley, Shawnigan Lake and Saanich. We also consider projects in Port Alberni, Ucluelet, Tofino and other Island communities depending on location, project scope and scheduling.
Travel and scheduling depend on where a property sits, so the best first step is simply to tell us the location.
Areas we serveWhy owners choose TTIS
Practical, documented, local
Local to Vancouver Island
Work is planned around Island conditions — rock, slope, tight rural access and properties that rely on their own well and their own septic system.
Clear communication
You are told what stage the project is at, what is outstanding and what the next decision is, in plain language rather than jargon.
Site-specific solutions
Nothing is applied as a template. What gets built follows what the site, the soils and the qualified professionals involved determine is appropriate.
Coordination that holds together
Designers, installation partners, machines and materials are sequenced so a project moves in the correct order.
Documented work
Photographs and as-built records are captured during construction, so you finish with a record of what is in the ground and where.
Respect for the property
Access routes, staging areas and the parts of the property you want left alone are agreed before the machines arrive.
Professional standards
Confidence built into every project
Clear professional involvement, provincial standards and project documentation from initial planning through completion.
Authorized Person involvement
A qualified ROWP or professional is assigned according to the project requirements.
BC regulatory framework
Work is completed under British Columbia’s Sewerage System Regulation.
Standard Practice Manual
Planning and construction are reviewed against applicable provincial standards.
Filing through certification
Applicable health-authority filing and completion documentation are coordinated.
The specific Authorized Person and scope are confirmed for each project.
